Article to help people who really do not see their site. It is such a problem I encountered while working with client sites. After received a few calls to technical support, it became clear that "I can not open site" - this is not the result of bad Internet, and the curves of hands, but something more global. Symptoms of the problem were as follows. Computer to the Internet goes, Habrahabr and Google open normally. Website client - no. The server does not "ping". What's strange - with other computers on the same network site opens, no problem ... Clients that report an error "Can not display page" could not help much. Had to look for broken computers and trying to figure out what's the deal with them. A:
Two hours of experiments showed the following results:
Actually, the next - a technical matter. It turned out that route print indicates a huge table, in which there is a huge routing rules via a gateway 192.168.0.0 (non-existent gateway). The solution is simple enough: just a magic command: route-f or similar: route delete * The command clears the routing table. After this it remains only a "fix" the Internet, adding a route through the default gateway: route add 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 192.168.0.1 Naturally, the gateway address may be different. Or you can just reboot - if you do not feel sorry for the usual time, but sorry for the brain time. Further investigation showed that in all probability, the customer's computer was infected with a virus (or worm?) Group Backdoor.Win32.Shiz .*, about which very much information to get failed. But the problem was discovered, a solution is found, what more. That's just the question remains: who still need these viruses? Someone decided to promote your site, blocking access to competitors' sites? Or is it a struggle for the "purity of the Internet? I do not know | |
