So, the main risks, among others, are social networks, for example, Facebook and Twitter. True, the same social network company classifies and processes for quick promotion of business. Obtained two-edged sword, which has dangerous side still sharper and longer than the side that is responsible for the attraction of social resources. In the study, a survey was conducted among 315 small and medium-sized companies. As it turned out, more than a third of companies faced with the problem of contamination of computer networks, malicious software that enter the corporate PC from social networks. 23% of companies faced with the diversion of the closed business information that is no ulterior motive shared with friends and colleagues, employees of these same companies. The average company employee, as it turned out, did not particularly care about the safety of such a valuable corporate information. As a result, more than 35% of companies surveyed have lost more or less significant amounts of money because of the dangers that come to them from social networks. Average amount of losses associated with these problems, was 5,000 U.S. dollars. The study was compiled rating of what small business owners fear the most (with regard to issues related to IT). So, in the first place there is the fear of loss or disclosure of corporate information (74%) after infection is malicious software (69%), further reduction in employee productivity (yeah, those for "Vkontaktikam", sorry, the Facebook-Am Twitter and sitting in the office hours). Followed by a fall in reputation and issues of large computer networks (29%). Facebook recognized as the most popular social resources among small businesses - about 67% of respondents said that they have accounts on this site. 44% registered in Twitter, 32% - on YouTube. It is interesting that 71.6% of surveyed companies are afraid of contracting malware, falling into corporate networks from social networks. Experts from Panda Security argue that the awareness of companies about the dangers that can cause social networks and how to fix arising in connection with all these problems is growing, which can not but rejoice. The truth has always been, is and will be "weak links" - workers who either do not know about possible dangers emanating from social networks, or simply ignore these dangers.
